Blue Derby is world recognised as a Mountain Biking mecca - 54km drive via Scottsdale and the quaint town of Branxholm.
Once a thriving mining town with the richest tin mine in the world and one of the last remaining wilderness areas, Derby is now home to one of the world’s premier mountain bike networks located right here in Tasmania. Encompassing 125km of purpose built mountain bike trails.The routes encompass an adventure for riders of every skill level - whether you’re a beginner wanting an introduction to the trails or you’re up for taking on the challenge of the epic adventure. There is no park passes or cost to ride the trails, the Derby trails are free to ride all year. There is also a pump track, a great day out for the whole family.
