Bridport is a popular holiday destination that has so much to offer, from gorgeous beaches and rock pools, sailing, kayaking and other water sports. It is a home for the scallop, trout and lobster fishing industries as well as a Wildflower Reserve - part of Granite Point Conservation Area.

Consisting of a resident population around 1,600 Bridport hosts an array of dining options from seafood takeaways, pubs, and cafes. The seaside village has all the necessities including supermarkets, boutique retail stores, bottle shops, hairdresser/barber, newsagent, and chemist – with world-class attractions all in close proximity – so please explore and experience what this beautiful region has to offer.

The Beaches

There are several beaches lining the beautiful foreshore including Goftons, Eastmans, Croquet Lawn, Mattingleys, Old Pier, Mermaids, Shelly and Adams – the beaches are sandy lined and each framed by the rocky outcrops of Devonian granite. You’ll find small little nooks through to long sandy beaches. Take your fur baby for a run at Adams beach off leash area or explore the walking track that runs along the foreshore meeting up with the playground, skate park and BBQs, picnic tables and benches for your enjoyment.

You might even like to try a little kayaking, paddle boarding, yoga or pilates along the way!

For those who love 4-wheel-driving and sandboarding, there’s endless sandunes where you will find motorbike and buggy enthusiasts on a regular basis, stay safe out there!

For the hunters and gatherers, given Bridport is known as the seaside fishing village we thought we would share a great spot on the rocks, just a short stroll down to the closest beach known as Croquet Lawn.
